FED:Tearful tribute: turning point for PM?

CANBERRA, Feb 8 AAP - During the 2010 federal election campaign, amid damaging leaks
and poor polling, Labor gambled on promoting "the real Julia".
The Labor leader said at the time she had been paying too much attention to party advisers
and wanted to run a less stage-managed campaign.
But despite Labor holding on to government by the skin of their teeth, the switch to
"real Julia" mode turned out to be just another political strategy, and the questions
about her wooden style and blank-canvas …
