Fed: No challenge to Crean currently underway: Rudd
Opposition foreign affairs spokesman KEVIN RUDD says no challenge to party leader SIMONCREAN is currently underway.
Mr RUDD has told the ABC's Lateline program that despite the falling out between MrCREAN and his predecessor KIM BEAZLEY, no move to challenge the leadership is underway.
Mr RUDD has conceded, however, that the feud has to be resolved quickly.
He says Mr BEAZLEY has made it clear that he hasn't launched any leadership challenge.
He says based on what Mr BEAZLEY has said so far, a challenge does not exist.
