Chahine named president, CEO at DNA-based drug company.

2004 APR 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Avigen, Inc., (AVGN) announced that Ken Chahine, PhD, J.D., has been promoted to the position of president and CEO. Chahine, previously Avigen's chief operating officer, replaces John Monahan, PhD, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Chahine will also replace Monahan as a member of Avigen's board of directors.
