VIC:First long weekend fatality on Vic roads

A motorcyclist has become the first person to die on Victoria's roads this holiday long weekend.

A car and the motorcycle collided at Berwick in Melbourne's southeast this afternoon
.. and bystanders and paramedics performed CPR on the motorcyclist.

But the man .. aged in his early 30s .. died at the scene.

The middle-aged woman who was driving the car was taken to hospital suffering chest pains.

The death is also the first national easter holiday road fatality.
