Qld: Teen passenger killed after car rolls
BRISBANE, Aug 12 AAP - A teenager boy died today after the car in which he was a passenger
went out of control and rolled in north Queensland.
The 17-year-old had been one of four teenage boys in a sedan which crashed on the Cape
Hillsborough Road at Seaforth, near Mackay, at 10.45am (AEST).
The driver, also 17, was not hurt, while the two other passengers, aged 13 and 14,
received injuries which were not life-threatening.
The 14-year-old was taken by ambulance to the Mackay Base Hospital where he is in a
stable condition.
No other cars were involved in the accident, a police spokeswoman said.
It was not known what caused the accident, she said.
