Fed: $660,000 worth of cocaine found on plane in Sydney

Nearly six kilograms of cocaine has been found dumped in an aircraft toilet cubicle
at Sydney airport.

Customs officers and specialist dog teams found 12 blocks of shrink-wrapped white powder
in a rubbish bin .. in a search of a Boeing 747 from Los Angeles on Sunday.

The powder was later confirmed as 5.7 kilograms of cocaine .. with an estimated street
value of 660 thousand dollars.

Customs manager GAYLE BROWN says it's pretty obvious that whoever planned to import
the drugs got cold feet .. federal police are investigating.
